Recent News - A Royal Will

In recent news, it has been reported that the High Court in London has given one of the Queens archivists, Oliver Irvine, permission to open the envelope containing the Last Will and Testament of the Duke of Windsor.

The Duke of Windsor, who was King Edward VIII until his abdication in December 1936 died in 1972.

The Will has remained sealed since then but it needs to be opened to discover who holds the copyright of his literacy work. It has been agreed that one copy of the Will shall be given to answer this questions and then resealed after this.
