A bitter divorce battle looks certain to continue following the Supreme Court granting Mrs Tini Owens permission to appeal following the Court of Appeal's decision to deny her a divorce she wanted. 

The case of Owens v Owens has become the subject of national press attention after the Court of Appeal denied the granting Mrs Owens a divorce. Mrs Owens had originally applied on the basis that her husband’s unreasonable behaviour had led to the irretrievable breakdown of their marriage. However in a rare move Mr Owens defended the divorce and was successful in Court.

Having failed to have that decision overturned, her legal counsel promised to take her case to the highest judicial authority in the UK.  Hopefully this time round the Supreme Court will adopt some common sense, unlike the lowers courts!
