Residential property – need to evict your tenant?

You may be aware that the Government introduced emergency legislation in March 2020 to protect tenants from eviction during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The relevant law is contained in schedule 29 of the Coronavirus Act 2020.

The new rules are complex and ever changing. They have changed on at least 3 occasions during the course of the pandemic.

Here at mosshaselhurst we are able to serve notices on a tenant to comply with the above legislation and to issue proceedings to obtain an Order for Possession after the notice period has expired. We are also able to write to tenants following service of a notice to ascertain their intentions and to move matters forward.
