UK house prices hit record high

UK house prices have recovered dramatically following lockdown to hit a new record high.

Nationwide building society said August brought the highest monthly price rise for 16 years, defying the economic crisis as the average price of a property rose 2% from the previous month to £224,123. Nationwide believe this is because buyers are reassessing their need for space in their properties due to the need for remote working. Indeed, over the past 12 months prices have jumped by 3.7% despite the recession.

It would appear that now is the best time to sell your property to take advantage of the rising prices. Why not give our property team a call on 01606 74301 and find out how we can help you?
