The Government to arrange new funding to support the building of housing infrastructure in England

It has been revealed that the Chancellor Sajid Javid has said that he will ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place to unlock housing in high demand areas. Whilst he was Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government he launched the Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF) which he proposes to fund this initiative.

In certain high demand areas, there is a requirement for roads, rail links, and schools to enable the housing to be built.  This initiative would help to unlock these areas and allow much needed housing to be built.
