Sexual Harassment in the workplace

A new legal duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace comes into force on 26th October 2024.

If the duty is breached and an employee successfully pursues a claim for sexual harassment, then the Tribunal will have power to uplift any award of compensation by 25%.
