Great opportunities in Cheshire.
Who will look after your pets?
A Will can leave your assets (and debts sometimes) to your intended beneficiaries but what about your pets?
Will it be sufficient for a family member to take in your pet if you pass away? Do you have more than one pet and would they need to be kept together? Who would pay the vet bills and insurance? These are some of the questions executors of a Will start to ask when someone has passed away and no stipulations have been made for a pet(s).
A Will allows you to leave a precious pet to a designated ‘carer’, along with a fund to help with the maintenance and insurance if necessary, or potentially to a relevant animal charity if there is no one who could take the pet in.
Ask to speak with our Wills Team to discuss your estate, and pet care, planning arrangements.
