Statutory Payment Rates for 2026/27

The Government has set out increases to the statutory payment rates for 2026/27 as follows:-

• the standard weekly rates of Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Adoption Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay, Statutory Shared Parental Pay and Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay will increase from £187.18 to £194.32
• The  weekly earnings threshold to qualify for these payments will increase from £125 to £129 per week
• the standard weekly rate of Statutory Sick Pay will increase from £118.75 to £123.25
• the earnings threshold for qualifying for Statutory Sick Pay will be removed from 6 April 2026.

The above rates will be confirmed when an Order is made and approved and are expected to take effect from 6 April 2026.
