Anthony (Tony) Birchall
Tony has over 38 years experience in the criminal courts dealing with all types of offences. He is an accredited duty solicitor for all police stations and courts. He was a motoring panel solicitor for both the AA and RAC until these panels were discontinued.
Tony has a wealth of experience in criminal law matters and also in all aspects of motoring law and motoring offences. Tony has recently joined mosshaselhurst to help strengthen our specialist crime and motoring department.
Tony graduated with an LLB (hons) degree from the University of Liverpool in 1978, before completing his academic training at the College of Law, Chester. He completed his 2 years solicitor training in Rugeley (Staffordshire) qualifying as a solicitor in 1981. He re-located to the Staffordshire Moorlands in 1984 to manage an office in Congleton for 30 years, before spending several years acting as an independent consultant for a number of solicitor firms in Cheshire.
Tony is married to Helen and has two children and three grandchildren. He is a committed member of the Rotary Club of Biddulph and is an Assistant Governor for the North West Rotary District. He listens to music of all genres, watches most sports (particularly UCI road cycling). He enjoys travel and is a frequent visitor to the First World War battlefields of Belgium and Northern France. Tony believes there is no better way of ‘clearing the mind’ than donning a pair of hiking boots and partaking in a spot of mountain walking.!!
