Criminal Solicitor

Sarah gained BA (Hons) in English Literature and French at the University of Manchester before studying a Post Graduate Diploma in Law and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2007.

Sarah’s work is focused in the North West but she has experience of defending clients nationally.  Her experience covers a wealth of cases both pre and post-charge, with cases in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Court.  Some of Sarah’s cases have attracted both local and national media coverage.  Her caseload has included:  historic sexual offences, internet offences, assaults, weapons offences and public order offences.  Sarah also has many years’ experience of defending motoring offences, including complex legal arguments and technical defences. 

 

In recent years, Sarah has undertaken further studies in relation to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.  Many of her clients have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.  She has experience of working effectively with Court appointed intermediaries so that client’s are able to give their best evidence at Court and achieve the best outcome.

 Sarah is determined, dependable, compassionate and approachable.

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, walking her dog and country music.  She is also a member of MENSA.
