Fracture of a clavicle (£4,500 - £10,700) compensation will reflect the seriousness of the fracture, level of disability, and any ongoing symptoms. Minor injuries (£1,000 - £6,900) usually involve soft tissue damage with significant pain, but where a recovery is expected within two years with some minor ongoing symptoms.  Moderate injuries (£6,900- £11,200) cause loss of movement and pain over two years with ongoing, but not permanent, symptoms. Serious injuries (£11,200 - £16,800) are usually those where symptoms such as pain, loss of movement and weakness of grip function are permanent. Severe injuries (£16,800 - £42,000) are associated with significant disability on a permanent basis.
